1. Check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
2. Organize the board games.
3. Organize cold-weather accessories.
4. Protect pipes from freezing. 
5. Refresh play spaces.

8. Clean out the kitchen and pantry.
9. Knock heavy snow from tree branches.
10. Take down holiday decorations, and store them well.
