Jeff Landers is a real estate advisor passionate about paying it forward. 


The son of a Yellow Pages advertising salesman in the 1980s, Jeff is multi-generational Indianapolis-native with family roots going back to pioneer times. In fact, there’s a boulder sitting in White River State Park with a plaque celebrating the founding of the city by state planning commissioners who met inside the cabin of John McCormick in 1820  — His 6th great grandfather was in attendance — Jeff grew up on the northeast side of Indianapolis, graduating from Lawrence North High School and Purdue University. Jeff’s career started in property & casualty insurance, and then transitioned to new home construction, providing a background in customer service, personal finance and the building process. These career paths merged in 2004 when becoming a Realtor. Since then, he’s represented hundreds of clients, working with first-time homebuyers, luxury home sellers and investors alike in the Greater Indianapolis metro area, from downtown Indy to Noblesville, from Geist to Zionsville. 


Jeff joined Engel & Võlkers in 2022. Excited to be part of this premier, global real estate brand new to the Indianapolis market, Jeff shares its core values: competence, exclusivity and passion. Not all real estate agents are created the same. Jeff understands buying, selling or building a home are more than just transactions; they are some of the biggest moves most people make in a lifetime. Jeff isn’t just a Realtor. He’s a husband to an assistant principal and a father to four boys. He lives in Noblesville. You can find him playing volleyball at Pinheads in Fishers or eating tacos at Bakersfield on Mass Ave. At home, he likes to cook (because he likes to eat). He spends his free time studying family genealogy, collecting vinyl records, spinning music as an amateur DJ or tackling home improvement projects. He enjoys traveling with his family around the country, checking off his life goal of visiting all the National Parks. As an alumnus of course, Jeff is a diehard Purdue sports fan. He’s also watched the Indianapolis Colts play every Sunday since 1986. His favorite time of year is the month of May, following both the Indy 500 and (hopefully) the Pacers in the playoffs.

The Engel & Völkers Story 

Engel & Völkers looks back on a long history that has its origins in Hamburg, Germany. The company foundations were laid when Dirk C. Engel established Engel & Cie in December 1977. As the exclusive representative of a US brokerage firm, he sold real estate to German investors from downtown Hamburg. Several years later, Dirk C. Engel and Christian Völkers decided to open a brokerage office in Hamburg’s Elbe suburbs.
